As per RBI circular - RBI/2011-12/389 DBOD.No.Leg.BC. 81 /09.07.005/2011-12 February 7, 2012 the list of unclaimed deposits/ inoperative accounts which are inactive/ inoperative for ten years or more has been displayed on Bank's website. The list so displayed will contain only names of account holders(s) and his/her address in respect of unclaimed deposits/ inoperative accounts. In case a depositor/ customer wants to know whether his/ her name is available in the published list, he/she can ascertain the same through the "search" option.
Claim Process:
- Claim by self:
Customer can visit the base branch and submit the Unclaimed Deposits claim form (As per Annexure I below) duly filled and signed, along with latest photograph and valid Identity and address proof document. - Claim by legal heir/ nominee:
For claim process, legal heir can visit the base branch and submit the Unclaimed Deposits claim form (As per Annexure I below) duly filled and signed, along with following documents.- Latest Photograph along with valid Identity and Address proof (KYC documents) of the claimant;
- Copy of death Certificate;
- For detailed process and production of required documents as per the policy on "Settlement of Death Claims" by visiting the base branch.
- Claim by non-individuals
For claim of non-individual accounts, please submit the Claim form on Company's letter head duly signed by authorized signatories along with valid identity and address proof of the firm and as well as of the authorized signatories.
